Office Friendly regional meetings a great success

Filed under: General & Business — ofda @ 7:46 pm

Over the last four weeks Office Friendly have held 6 regional roadshows to update the members on year ahead within the group and our major supply partner VOW.

The roadshows were very well attended and the format concentrated on Office Friendly in the morning with Steve Harrop giving a presentation on the current state of the office supplies industry as well as an overview of the economic climate.  Debbie Lee gave a Marketing & Suppliers update, whilst Chris Nichols focused on the groups IT developments for the year ahead.

The sessions were interactive with some great discussions about the group, their focus and how we are to grow and develop over the coming months and years ahead.

The afternoon’s were dedicated to our major supply partner VOW.  Ian Sinclair (MD of VOW) gave an insight into VOW’s plans for the year ahead.  The centralisation of the call centre, the closing of the RDC’s, EOS Pricing and service levels were all topics discussed.  The dealers got the chance to put their questions to the top man in VOW and by the end of the roadshows, dealers did leave with much more confidence than they had than when they went into meeting.  VOWare now intent on delivering on their promises.

The team at OFDA will be publishing a  list of outcomes from the meetings and these will be available from the Office Friendly Website

If you attended the meetings and have anything you would like to add then please post your comments below.
